Anshupriya Founder
Anshupriya grew up around the leather workshops of Jodhpur and started Chokha Laage to give the city’s makers a name of their own. Every new pattern is still checked personally, and most of the WhatsApp messages you send us are answered by the founder.
The rule for the workshop is simple: if it would not be good enough to gift, it does not ship.

The workshop family Artisan partners
Chokha Laage is made by a small group of artisan families in Jodhpur who have worked leather for generations. They cut, stitch and finish every piece, and they are paid by the piece at rates agreed together.
We keep the group small on purpose. It is the only way every bag gets looked at twice.
