Chokha Laage began in the blue city with one idea: everyday things should carry a little of Rajasthan’s craft. We work with artisan families in Jodhpur, keep every step of making in the city, and put our name on each piece.

Our story

How it is made

From hide to heirloom

01Sourcing

Full-grain goat hides from local tanneries, vegetable-tanned for a natural finish that ages beautifully.

02Cutting

Panels are pattern-cut by hand to make the most of every hide, then edge-finished and burnished.

03Stitching

Saddle-stitched with waxed thread and fitted with heavy brass buckles, rivets and straps.

04Finishing

Conditioned, inspected twice and tagged with the Chokha Laage leather tag before it ships.
